WELCOME TO A PEACE OF MIND PRESCHOOL!
A Peace of Mind Preschool is a Montessori and faith-based preschool for ages 6 months to 5 years. We encourage art, music, gardening & cooking daily. Our preschool is filled with child size real life tools to encourage imaginative play while bringing it to life at times. Healthy snacks & lunch are also provided. Ms. Morgan keeps class sizes small to create a more intimate environment. She lives a holistic lifestyle who believes in the importance of shaping little peoples lives through faith. Our preschool is run in a home setting, perfect for your children's home away from home.
Below are some quotes that have helped inspire the type of teaching and learning that goes on at our school.
“The greatest gifts you can give your children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence.” – Denis Waitley
"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." - Benjamin Franklin
“When children play in natural spaces, they’re far more likely to invent their own games than in more structured settings – a key factor in becoming self-directed and inventive adults later in life” ~Richard Louv

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT ARE SOME THINGS THAT SETS YOU APART FROM OTHER PRESCHOOLS?
A Peace of Mind Preschool keeps class sizes small compared to other schools who have 10-20 toddlers in classes. Not only do we teach preschool curriculum learning, we also teach key tools in life such as cooking & gardening. We encourage creativity by doing art & music on a daily basis. We offer healthy, homemade meals for lunch and healthy snacks with gluten free & dairy free options. All of the food we offer is artificial dye free. We create excitement for learning by innovating creative ways of teaching, and by hosting events, camps and activities most weekends. We do have cameras covering all entrances for my use in the case that anything happens. Pictures/videos and daily reports are provided. Lastly, cloth diapers are encouraged rather than denied like most other schools.
WHAT IS YOUR STUDENT/TEACHER RATIO?
The ratio at our school has a max of 6 children to 1 teacher. Because Ms. Morgan is the only teacher, there will never be more than 6 children at a time.

HOW CAN PARENTS BE INVOLVED IN THEIR CHILD’S CLASSROOM?
We will have holiday parties, and field trips that parents/caregivers are encouraged to join. We also hold two open houses each year for children to show off what they’re doing in class. We have an open-door policy, but we ask family to use common courtesy to not disrupt other children's learning or naps. All doors will be kept locked due to the children's safety, but family is always welcome.
DO YOU ACCEPT ELC?
No, we do not accept ELC at this time.
